It seems like only yesterday, but we actually launched the GRIP6 Wallet on Kickstarter over a year ago. Since then our team has been working tirelessly to improve the wallet’s design. The learning curve was steep and exciting (and painful)! We bought new machines and gained manufacturing and engineering expertise.

Beyond Tough
To put it simply, this is the last wallet you’ll ever need. The frame is made from 5052 T6 Aluminum, and the internal lift system is tested to well over 500,000 cycles (and going). Not to mention the wallet is corrosion resistant and thoroughly impact-tested. We construct it right here in Utah, out of American aluminum, stainless steel, and high-strength polymer.

8 Years in the Making
The Inventor of the GRIP6 Belt and our CEO, BJ Minson, made the first GRIP6 wallet prototype eight years ago. His original construction was entirely aluminum and steel. Though he was not able to bring the wallet to market then, he continued to use his prototype wallet as his everyday wallet for eight years as he improved the wallet and learned how to master manufacturing.
Though BJ found amazing success in his invention of the GRIP6 Belt, he continued to work regularly on improving manufacturing and design of his wallet, looking forward to the day he could make it for everyone.
We believe he created a Wallet perfect for almost anyone!
We source, design, and build the wallets from raw aluminum, polymer, and steel (and love) right here in our fast-growing manufacturing facility in Utah. We own the process from beginning to end, which means we:

- Immediately make minute process and redesign changes
