When I began in the business of Web-development and design, I would get emails from people that were having problems developing content for their website. Some even stated that every now and then when great ideas came up, they’d do some research on the ideas, but the topic would come up as having too much competition, or already over-populated. That can be very frustrating.
With that said, however, making money on the internet is possible and highly probable if we’re willing to “WORK” it
When I started creating landing pages and lead capture pages in the late 90’s and early years of 2000, there were already a ton of pages out there. Plus, there were several “big players” out there that dominated the market. I still managed to do the things necessary to build it into a profitable business. Did I bump any of the “big players” out of their positions? No. But I realized that I didn’t have to.
There are literally millions of people surfing the internet today. And a small percentage of them are out there looking for the opportunity we are offering. You can STILL reach people that have never heard of you or your competitors. The internet is like a vast ocean and these serious opportunity seekers are the fish that we need to catch . . . !
So, once again, is that lead capture page idea a bad one?
Take the next step on your “road to success”. With one page (your LEAD CAPTURE PAGE) promote up to 7 of your SFI gateways. Flood the internet with your ADS leading to your LEAD CAPTURE PAGE. Generate your very own PSAs! Promote sales! Build a prosperous, energetic and active team with your . . .“LEAD CAPTURE PAGE”
I feel you would enjoy recruiting your very own active team so, go for it!
One thing though, try to figure out what best suits you before committing to any ad-campaigns. One common mistake we make when submitting our Ads is utilizing our regular e-mail address for this purpose and that can be a big mistake. We may get overwhelmed by the ton of email we will receive (and it cannot be considered spam).
In order to receive their services (many of the FREE AD SERVICES) and have our Ad displayed on their “ADVERTISING” webportal or submitted to their mailing lists, we must agree to receive emails from others who use their services as well. Paid advertising, on the other hand can be free of this slight inconvenience.
So what do we do? Use a free “TRASH” email address that you can cipher the email messages coming in and delete the trash you do not need.
This is a little different than what we’re used to with S-Builder, Builder Bundle, PSAs To Go, and ECA team buidling packages.
By no means is this “lead capture page” meant to replace those excellent “affiliate harvesting programs”!
Don’t hold off your online business while you wait to discover the next million dollar niche. This approach is like putting off enjoying life until you have won the lottery.
The problem with this is that if you never actually win the lottery, you will have missed out on some great chances to enjoy life.
The internet is the same way: Don’t risk passing up a great opportunity because you were on the sidelines trying to find that ONE, TWO, or THREE DIAMONDS that will make you rich.
So if you ask me, “is the lead capture page a bad idea?” my response is: (I forget who coined this phrase), ” . . . the only bad ideas are the ones that never get acted on!”
